AICCELERATE at Frontiers Health 2023

Early last week our partners participated in the Frontiers Health 2023 event in Rome. During the event, our partner Jovan Stevovic from CHINO.io actively participated in the session AI Investments in Healthcare in which he explained that there are several funded projects on the AI topic, and they involve the best hospitals in the EU, some of the best companies and in many cases startups, who can pilot and test their technologies. In fact,  projects like ours provide a valuable testbed for companies and startups to engage with hospitals and access the necessary data to develop and test their AI solutions.

In AICCELERATE we are developing AI-powered digital twins for specific care pathways, and one of the most challenging aspects related to ethics, access to the data and regulatory in general are solved by expert entities involved in the project. Overall this activity is paid by the EU Commission, so it also helps startups to sustain the costs.

Other partners from Neuropaht and Bambino Gesú Pediatric Hospital also joined the event and they shared their impressions and spread the word about our project advances with the pilot implementation.
