AICCELERATE at Medica Trade Fair 2023

November has come full of events in which our project is taking an active presence!

Two weeks ago we were at Frontiers Health 2023 in Rome and, last week some of our partners actively participated in the MEDICA Trade Fair. With over 5,300 exhibitors from almost 70 countries and 83,000 visitors MEDICA in Düsseldorf is one of the largest medical B2B trade fairs in the world. A wide range of innovative products and services from the fields of medical imaging, laboratory technology, diagnostics, health IT, mobile health as well as physiotherapy/orthopaedic technology and medical consumables are presented here. The extensive programme of first-class forums, conferences and special shows provides opportunities for interesting presentations and discussions with experts and politicians and also includes pitches for new products and award ceremonies.

During the fair, our partners had the opportunity to showcase our latest developments and deliver presentations. Also, they participate in the workshop on Artificial Intelligence and Robotics technologies designed for future deployment in hospitals and care centres, jointly organised with the HOSMARTAI project, which took place on Tuesday, 14 November 2023.

The event took the format of a speed-dating event, enabling partners to participate in a series of short one-to-one conversations, followed by time for networking. Workshop participants had the chance to exchange views with the attending stakeholders, meet the innovative companies behind the solutions, evaluate their market potential, create new business partnerships, and join the dynamic healthcare AI/Robotics ecosystem we are building.
